Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Who we are

Flowly Pro is provided by Luke Young, trading as Flowly ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use Flowly Pro.

2. Two kinds of personal data this policy covers

3. What we collect about you (our customer)

4. What you may store about your own customers

Through your use of Flowly Pro, you may store: customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle registrations and details, job and service history, and SMS consent records. This data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service to you, and do not use it for our own purposes.

5. How we use data

We use your account data to:

6. Who we share data with

We share data with the following service providers, only as needed to operate Flowly Pro:

Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their specific service to us, and is bound by their own data protection obligations. We do not sell personal data to anyone, for any reason.

If you use Flowly Pro's text messaging features, you are responsible for obtaining valid consent from your own customers before sending marketing-type messages (such as MOT and service reminders) to them, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. We store a record of the consent status you set for each customer, along with a timestamped history of changes to it, so this record exists as evidence of your own compliance efforts.

8. How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations. Data you store about your own customers is kept for as long as your account is active, and is deleted or made inaccessible to you if your account is closed, subject to what we need to retain for legal reasons.

When you erase one of your customers' personal details, Flowly Pro keeps what you need for your tax records: their jobs, invoice numbers, amounts, dates and VAT, and their name and address on their invoices from the last 6 years, because a VAT invoice must show them. Each invoice's copy of their name and address is cleared automatically 6 years after the invoice's date.

Data that is deleted or erased leaves the live service straight away. It may remain in our hosting provider's encrypted backups until they expire, normally within 30 days.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption of data in transit and at rest where applicable. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on their own compliance with UK data protection standards (such as the UK's international data transfer safeguards) as part of choosing to work with them.

12. Cookies and the Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to see which of our ads lead to someone starting a free trial. It only loads if you say yes on the cookie banner, which appears once your trial has started. Say no and it never loads, and Flowly Pro works exactly the same.

If you say yes, Meta can set these cookies and receive that you started a trial (not your email address, card or any account details):

Meta uses this under its own terms and privacy policy. Your yes or no is saved in your browser's local storage, not a cookie. You'll find a Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page shown after you start your trial. If you want to change your answer later, email hello@getflowly.co.uk.

If you came from one of our ads, the ad's campaign tags (the utm_ part of the web address) are saved with your subscription in Stripe, so we can see which ad a trial came from. Meta's click ID is only included if you said yes to cookies on getflowly.co.uk.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before they take effect.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your data, can be sent to luke22ty@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on 07514 202898.
