Automatic reminders go out up to 21 days before a vehicle's MOT or service is due, once per due date. If a date's entered closer than 21 days out, the text still goes, just with less notice. A date already in the past won't trigger one.
Type the registration and look it up. The car goes straight into Reminders with its dates. No job needed.
Money going out: fuel, tools, insurance, parts bought on account. It counts against this month's profit estimate.

Reminders by text are a marketing permission, so it has to be a real one: asked for, in conversation, and given. Recording it here says they said yes.
This does not affect "ready to collect" texts or health checks. Those go either way, and every text carries a link the customer can use to stop all of them.
